This document is divided into the following sections: o Description o Requirements o Installation o New Features/Bug Fixes o Known Problems o Technical Support Description =========== This utility provides users a single application for MAC,Linux,Windows utilizing Golang and Electron framework, This is a single executable which can be copied and executed. User can perform Firmware update, Configuratoin update, Provisioning, and Get device file using this application Requirements ============ To use Lantronix Provisioning Manager, ensure the following requirements are met. Operating System Requirements: ------------------------------ Windows 7 or higher (64-bit) Ubuntu 14.04 or higher (64-bit) Mac OS X (64-bit) Hardware Requirements: ---------------------- 64-bit processor 2 GB RAM or higher Network Requirements: --------------------- UDP port 30718 must be available. This is used for device discovery using LDP. For ITM devices, SSH must be successful. The network must support UDP broadcast and unicast packets. Installation ============ 1. LPM-601 : In LPM when we perform firmware update on Midas device update is not completing till 100% and throwing error at 99% and after discovering the device, device is not showing in connected state but it keeps buffering only. Bug Fixes: ---------- LPM-577 : After provisioning the AVL devices and trying to connect the same port from LPM, LPM gets crashed/closing the app. LPM-579 : Proper error message should be displayed while trying to provisioning the already existing AVL device. LPM-581 : After deleting the AVL device from consoleflow, Not able able to provision that same device. Bug no.32037 11.Loglevel is now working. Bug no.31935. Known Problems ============== 1. Onclicking Lpm help opens external browser but its not focused. 2. Select All button selects all the devices in the table. It is not per page. 3. In Windows, Firmware Update on OOB Deviecs (using Built-in SFTP Server) might fail if the application is run from non-local drive for ex:OneDrive. Some permission issues are seen and Firmware Update is not successful. The same works fine when application launched from local drive. 4. In Linux, if the count of UnicastIPAddress in Settings exceeds 1000, some devices might fail to discover. User has to increase max filedescriptor count supported using cli command "ulimit -n 2048". This has to be increased in accordance with number of UnicastIPAddress given. Default value in Linux is 1024. This value has to be changed for given user before launching LPM. 5. In MAC OS, if the count of UnicastIPAddress in Settings exceeds 1000, some devices might fail to discover. User has to increase max filedescriptor count supported using command "ulimit -n 1024". This has to be increased in accordance with number of UnicastIPAddress given. Default value in MAC OS is 256. This value has to be changed for given user before launching LPM. 6. "Recover" and "Telematics Gateways" tabs are not supported in MAC OS. Technical Support =================
