Import and Export Configuration Files

You can export a file of all the settings for future use or for testing.

To export a configuration file:

1. From the Com Port menu, select Export to Com Port Config file.

2. Browse to the appropriate directory, name the file, and click the Save button. The file is saved as a Com Port Config File (*cpc).

Note: Two configuration files (.cpc files) are automatically saved each time you modify and save com port settings:

• • BeforeLastEdit.cpc:  State of the com port settings before you click the Save icon .

  • LastSaved.cpc: State of the com port settings after you click the Save icon.

To import a saved configuration file:

1. From the Com Port menu, select Import from Port Config file.

2. Browse to the desired .cpc file.and click the Open button. The settings saved in the file display in red in CPR Manager.

3. Click the Save icon . The saved settings display in black.
